A very special route for the 10th edition

La Rioja Bike Race by Pirelli 2024 defines its route: 151 km and 3,320 m of elevation gain in three stages, one of them XCT, in which Logroño and the best trails will be the main protagonists.

On May 17, 18 and 19, La Rioja will once again enjoy the best mountain biking with the 10th edition of La Rioja Bike Race by Pirelli. This special edition deserved a unique route, and the organisers have prepared three stages to enjoy mountain biking in a privileged area.

One of the most outstanding new features of the current route is the inclusion of a 20 km XCT time trial in the first stage. A day starting and finishing in Logroño, the main feature of which will be an XCO circuit in La Grajera, which the cyclists will have to ride around.

On the second day, the XCM marathon format returns in style with the 77 km Škoda Super Stage, with the climbs to Luezas from the Iregua Valley and the climb to Peña Aldera as highlights. Starting and finishing at the Palacio de los Deportes in Logroño, the route of this stage will take the cyclists along old technical recovered roads, finishing on trails where they will descend with a lot of fluidity to make their delights.

The 10th edition will close with a typical stage starting and finishing in Logroño, which will go through the Moncalvillo mountains and its well-known variety of trails. A stage that will push the limits both uphill and downhill, with trails characterised by the typical pine forests of this area full of roots and stones to the delight of the cyclists.
