Introducing La Rioja Bike Experience, a full weekend dedicated to mountain biking

A new concept to experience MTB at La Rioja

La Rioja Bike Race evolves into La Rioja Bike Experience, a new concept that brings together a wide range of activities and events designed to delight mountain bike enthusiasts.

From May 15 to 17, the city of Logroño will become the hub of Spanish MTB, hosting three stages of mountain biking. Stage 2 will hold UCI C2 status, awarding points toward the Union Cycliste Internationale ranking.

Beyond the stage race itself, La Rioja Bike Experience expands its offering with a variety of side activities, exhibitor stands, and complementary events aimed at enhancing the overall rider experience.

The 12th edition of La Rioja Bike Race will cover around 150 kilometers and 4,000 meters of elevation gain over three days of racing, turning the region into a true celebration of mountain biking. Amateur riders will have the chance to tackle the same routes as professionals, enjoy three carefully crafted stages showcasing La Rioja’s landscapes, or try something different with a new discipline making its debut in Logroño: gravel riding.

This new format arrives with the La Rioja Gravel Ride, a non-competitive gravel event limited to 300 participants, following part of the Stage 3 route of La Rioja Bike Race. Registration for this event opens on April 13.

Additional activities will be announced in the coming weeks, rounding out a full program that blends cycling, local brands, gastronomy, and community.

La Rioja Bike Experience promises three unforgettable days of pure mountain biking—where sport, landscape, and experience come together once again.
