Being the fastest in the Bike Race by Garmin Segments is rewarded

This is a classification in which the fastest riders will be rewarded in very specific and marked segments within each stage.

We will once again enjoy the timed segments in the middle of the stage thanks to GARMIN, with a juicy final prize for the winner of the final classification. If the Strava Segment races give you a real buzz, in La Rioja Bike Race, and thanks to the collaboration between GARMIN and OCTAGON ESEDOS, the company that organises the Mountain Bike stage competitions called "Bike Race by Octagon Esedos", you can be the fastest in our STRAVA club and win some great rewards.

What are the Bike Race by GARMIN Segments?

It is a classification parallel to any other, in which the fastest riders will be rewarded in very specific and marked segments within each stage. At the end of the three stages, the times will be added up and a final winner will emerge.

How to participate in the Bike Race by GARMIN Segments?

1 / Be registered in La Rioja Bike Race presented by Pirelli

2 / Be a follower of the club on STRAVA: https://www.strava.com/clubs/949643

3 / Have your profile on STRAVA open or make your activity public on STRAVA, the same day of the stage before 16:00 hours. For the last stage, they must be published before the prize-giving ceremony.

For each stage, the winner will be given a set of GARMIN merchandising products, as well as the leader's jersey for the male and female runner who tops the classification.

The overall winner of the Bike Race by Garmin segments will receive a Garmin Edge 540 GPS.

IMPORTANT!

The classification will be valid for all participants.
Those riders who, due to mechanical breakdown or any other circumstance, have not finished any of the stages will not be eligible for the final classification.
Those riders who, during any of the segments or the route of the corresponding stages, violate any point of the general rules of the event, will not be eligible for the classification.
