Success at the 1st La Rioja eBike Ride

Nearly 40 participants were able to enjoy the event, which featured two stages.

The La Rioja Bike Race hosted the first edition of the La Rioja eBike Ride. Nearly 40 people got to experience two exciting stages that passed through La Rioja's most iconic settings to arrive at Santo Domingo de la Calzada. The day combined sport and tourism and, in addition to pedaling through the most exquisite spots, this edition made a stop at GastroGolf Albatros, where participants refueled for the return to Logroño.

With star power like José Antonio Hermida, who together with Turismo de La Rioja, was in charge of designing the route, riders participating in the eBikes expedition were treated to the area's most spectacular and beautiful places. The electric bicycle brand, Cube, was responsible for making the dream come true by providing the eBikes and by transforming the most complex and technical trails into an experience for these mountain bikers to enjoy.

All the participants enjoyed the stages and agreed that "thanks to eBikes you can go farther and enjoy riding even more." eBikes are here to stay and this Rioja eBike Ride will be the first of many other editions.
