2020 La Rioja Bike Race

Maintains its four stages format and will be held from May 7 to 10

Next May and more specifically from May 7 to 10, a new edition of La Rioja Bike Race will be held. In its seventh edition, and as it happened in the previous one, the race will have four stages according to the regulations of the International Cycling Union (UCI). In addition, the race will maintain its UCI XCS 2 class, as well as its venue, which will be Logroño.

La Rioja Bike Race will celebrate its seventh edition and is a reference race that has had a thousand riders in the past editions, and have gathered nearly of  6,000 riders from 40 different countries throughout its history. Its combination of leisure, gastronomy, culture and a sensational environment for mountain biking, have made it one of the most attractive events of the calendar.

To make the most of the four days, the competition will be started with a Flash Stage on Thursday afternoon. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the stages will be of the same profile as the last editions, with greater distance, marathon style and with all types of terrain.

Precisely these varied lands, the incredible trails through the beautiful vineyards of this area are the great attractions of a race in which our ambassador, Carlos Coloma, has been working for several days. As you know those who have come to one of the six previous editions, the Coloma area never disappoints.
