More La Rioja Bike Race for 2019

It will have one more day of competition and will be held from May 9 to 12

La Rioja Bike Race will become a mountain biking stage race of four days, according to the 2019 regulations of the International Cycling Union (UCI). The race will maintain its UCI XCS 2 class and will be held in Logroño from May 9 to 12, just before the beginning of the XCO World Cup, and will award valuable points for the world ranking and for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualification.

La Rioja Bike Race will celebrate its sixth edition and is a reference race that has had a thousand riders in the past editions. Its combination of leisure, gastronomy, culture and a sensational environment for mountain biking, have made it one of the most attractive events of the calendar.

Endorsed by Olympic medalist and Riojan Carlos Coloma, the race had 22 nationalities represented in 2018. The start of the registrations is expected by the beginning of December.
